Meetings and Events Manager – Operations Dublin €40k – €45k

Our client are seeking an experienced Meetings and Events Manager to join the team of their reputable hotel in Dublin. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing large events in a hig end hotel environment. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role is required

The Role:

Organise all assigned functions and complete preparation work in accordance with departmental standards
Supply requisition
Menu review in conjunction with Chef
Supervise, train and ensure the performance of assigned Banquest staff
Oversee service stations, including Bars, tables and buffet stations
Coordinate with Events organiser prior to function, make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
Promote positive guest relations at all times
Foster and promote a coopoerative working climate, maximising productivity and employee morale.

Requirements:

Strong events management experience
Proven background in developing employees and retaining staff
Good knowledge of food and beverage financials
Forward thinking and innovative; a natural problem solver

Must have previous hotel experience

Salary Guideline €40k – €45k
