  • Cooking food to the required specifications for lunch, dinner and functions including large balls/banquets.
  • Assist the Head chef with updating/improving menus, ordering and managing stock, SOP’s, rosters and payroll and managing kitchen team.
  • Ensure the smooth running of food service with Kitchen and Restaurant personnel and leading the team in the absence of the Head chef.
  • Ensure all special requests are met.
  • Work in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to.
  • Receive goods from suppliers, when required, and to ensure products conform with HACCP specifications.
  • Our ideal candidate will have previous/proven experience as a Sous Chef or Snr. Chef de Partie and will have 2 years experience working in a busy restaurant or hotel restaurant environment. We are looking for someone to bring energy, enthusiasm and passion to role.
  • Ensure that the food cooked and served to our guests/customers is of the best quality and standard in terms of taste and presentation as per our menu’s.
  • To liaise with our guests and customers in regard to dietary requests as much as is possible ensuring guest/customer satisfaction.
  • To fully implement HACCP in the kitchen.
  • General cost and quality control for both incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Menu planning, design and pricing of the same.
  • Responsible for the purchase of all goods, ensuring that they meet the required standards
