Executive Head Chef €60k (Restaurant)

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Head Chef for a high end restaurant and venue in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and well organised individual who is looking to put their mark on a new menu that will be launched next year for this superb restaurant and venue. This role would suit an experienced Executive Head Chef or Head Chef coming from a busy high end restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Ability to control food cost and wastage
  • Managing a large team of experienced chefs
  • Creating menus which meet the needs of the target market and are in line with the vision and concept of the property
  • Keeping up to date with the latest culinary trends
  • Handling of the fully implemented HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to lead in a busy kitchen
  • Liasing directly with the owner

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a high end restaurant
  • Strong longevity in previous roles
  • Presentable and have a good work ethic
  • Will be comfortable working in a high volume environment
  • A strong leader with motivational skills
  • A highly organised individual and a strong communicator
  • A real people person
